The company doesnt pay for cleaning, lets their staff do it in the morning.
The company doesnt pay for lunch, lets their staff pay for it themselves.
The company requires them to show up at like 7am, but wont officially start their wage day until 9am.
    What a stingy boss. Unbelievable.

I remembered our poor protagonist, Makoto. 😢 This woman is more valued by her coworkers. Very lucky! Unlike Makoto who run errands from end to end of his town. His boss doesnt even want him to take a cab during those errands. Makoto deserves justice! Lets help please!

  28. Steve Davenport October 19, 2019 at 5:01 am

Well, on its face, seems like using your employees to clean is cost effective, but is it really; especially when you consider the opportunity costs of core tasks that are not getting done.

@12:07 there, the most valuable time of the day, it all came down to this point. It’s what’s all about. Home sweet home with all family gathered around the tablet for dinner. How many of us do this now?

Hello, can you help me check what the user manual of Toyota Vitz KSP-90 chassis and 1 KR engine (of 997 cc or about 1.0 L) says about fuel efficiency of the car when driven in the city?

I have the manual but it's in Japanese. If you know Japanese, or can connect me to Erina I see she is driving the same car, and is in a mechanic shop.

    HELP PLEASE. IT'S VERY URGENT

  52. Wolfs Rain October 28, 2019 at 9:05 am

She's NOT an auto repair worker. She IS a glorified secretary.

  53. M-T October 28, 2019 at 11:38 am

That driver dude after the posting of this video, has been fired. Reason being is, he works at Toyota, yet his favorite car is Nissan. R.I.P.

Japanese culture and people are really interesting. It seems to me that they have really embodied the word "simple". You can actually interpret it both in a positive and negative way.
Positively – they have a straightforward life. You do your work, you do it like your forefathers have done it, you do it the same way your people do it.
Negatively – Same things almost daily. Kind of like the salaryman, a lot of Japanese people expect to work in one company until they die… worded differently, they work until they die.

If you think about her life, the work she does is kind of mundane, and is probably going to be a lot faster / easier if they adapted modern technology. However, I do believe that they don't adapt to modern technology because of the job.
I think unlike most other workplaces wherein efficiency / overworking an employee is their goal, there they value the work itself.
Japanese people were made to work… and somehow they don't find that appalling at all.

  54. bot October 28, 2019 at 9:20 pm

11:17 uh oh stinky in Japanese lmao XD

    Japan is awesome !

  67. Jesse Melanson November 3, 2019 at 12:37 am

Wow what an awesome company to work for. I work in a small appliance business as a shop technician and we don't ever get that kind of treatment. It's just work, work, work, and the boss collects. You'd expect that kind of culture from a big company but small ones are super guilty of not caring, at least in the US.

It makes sense to take a bad at night as oppose to morning. Why would you your smelly body in the bed? Plus you sleep better when you're clean.

  89. mykalimba November 7, 2019 at 5:24 am

I just realized that Erina is Maiko's sister! They look so much like sisters, and they both look like mom!

Actually, hanging up on your customer is rude in America too. When I worked for Apple, you could get written up for that if not termination.

  99. Broccoli Fan November 8, 2019 at 3:02 am

Even in modern days, many Japanese and companies won't let long kept good traditions and culture drift away.
If you pay attention to every details of traditional routines and practice, they make the day efficient and meaningful. Japan success got solid reasons and foundation behind.

  100. Aman Walikar November 8, 2019 at 3:20 am

Life – social life = japanese life
