I think I would definitely have fun with this technique. I have some JOY letters I could use and I think it might be fun with a buffalo plaid pattern or maybe some evergreen boughs! Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring!!!

  6. mawmawvee November 4, 2019 at 6:59 pm

I've heard of "kissing" before, but didn't know what it was.  This is amazing!  I love the way the card turned out and will have to try this technique.  The ornament actually took on a rounded effect, which made it even better.  I don't know how that happened, but it did.  Thanks so much.

  7. Lynn O November 4, 2019 at 7:23 pm

    Love it!

  8. MeWho November 4, 2019 at 7:25 pm

Totally forgot about the kissing technique! Now that I think about it, I have 2 mirror stamp sets in my collection too. Hmmm I can picture interesting balloon patterns coming up one of these days. 😛

  15. Teresa Doyle November 4, 2019 at 8:31 pm

This is so cool Kristina. I am like you, I don't have many solid stamps to try this with but I might just dig through my stash to see if I can figure out how to improvise with a couple that might just work.

  16. Amanda Panda November 4, 2019 at 8:40 pm

  26. Andrea La Vigne November 4, 2019 at 10:23 pm

I really like this card, Kristina!!! Simple, but with a lot of impact, and that kissing technique is fabulous in its simplicity. I think I've also seen it done where the solid stamp was inked up, then kissed to the more detailed stamp to remove ink from the solid stamp. Then the solid one was used to stamp with. Hope that makes sense. Just gives a different look, I think. Anyway, thank you for sharing your creation. Take care, & have an awesome day! 🙂

  27. Linda Chilcott November 4, 2019 at 10:31 pm

Hey, Kristina! Well, sometimes those “oldies ARE the goodies”, as with this technique! You tickled my brain files with today’s video and I LOVE IT! Such a fun technique n’ DARLING card design! Time to hunt through my stamp arsenal n’ pull out something that can work. I’m not sure I have a lot of solid image stamps but I’m thinking even “splatter” type stamps w/snowflakes, ornaments, etc. for an all-over design MIGHT work!! Will have to try! TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’!
