Don't forget the little plastic pins that go in the Hole on each wiper blade arm. My Girl threw them away……dont do that.!
You saved me thanksssss
Thanks for the video.!
2019 and still saving lives.
In this video I sore your face
Yay!! You helped me so much. It's finally raining in socal and I haven't changed my wipes in… 9 years. Idk how they lasted so long but they are no longer good and I had to buy a new set. So I was abke to do the change myself. Thank you.
It's not easy. Been stood outside for 30 minutes in cold only managed to remove the wiper, new one wont go on.
Hi, I am trying to rebuild the steering column on a 1991 corvette. Can anyone tell me about the J 22635 tool how does it work !!
Our windshield wipers were literally not working in freezing rain and snow. My boyfriend said this was so helpful that we should say thank you! So thank you!!!
Just another comment saying thank you this was helpful.
Thank you… Im having to put one on now, while it's snowing smh 😄… Very helpful video! 👍 👍
In freezing winter rain I was about to go back to mechanic thinking my wiper had jammed. Glad I saw this made my life easier 🙌🏾
Chris: you are an awesome guy.God bless you more
Thank you ever so much!!!!
you made it so easy and zoomed in so we could see what you were doing with your hands, thank you sooo much 😭
I will go try it now.. looks very easy..
This was VERY HELPFUL…I'm not an "idiot" with basic mechanical things but getting these off on my 95 F-150 was frustrating the H*LL outta me. Especially when it was snowing to "beat the band" and I finally got the garage cleaned out enough to get the truck in. I got one off that I ended up having to cut the rubber and wire off of then pry open the wiper blade with a screw driver and nippers (obviously the wrong approach but I was committed). the rotating it "perpendicular" and pulling while supporting it was invaluable. Then just had to figure the direction the wiper blade had to be orientated to put the J-Hook of the wiper arm into. I agree with the comment below we could actually SEE what was going on. Thank you again!
BLESS YOUR SOUL FOR THIS!
My wife was stuck at work and trying to explain this over the phone is a pain. Your video saved 20 mins of hassle and being yelled at. Thank you
Boss, there is a tiny locker pin where you attach or fix the blade. You don't have to apply force to de-attach the blade. This locker pin just need a little push and viper comes out super easy.
Excellent demo thank you 🙏
You saved me in a snow storm ! Thanks guy!
Truely did helped 👍🏻
My wiper went flying ("PINNNNNG!") when it caught on some heavy ice and snow on the windshield; replaced it later in a jiffy after watching your video! Yep, Walmart had the book, found the right wiper, no problem. Thanks!
That worked! Got them off, now I need to replace them lol, thank you!
I can't get my blades off. Do I have to push the little tab in? One of my tabs broke off.
Great video dude
Thanks for the demo man helped me and sister out a lot
After sow this video ,take 30 second.thanks
Thanks Man :o) My husband will be impressed !
Chris ur a life saver!!! I wrestled with replacing my wipers for about 20 mins before I viewed ur video!!! Truly appreciate u!!!👍👨🔧
Helped me out
This doesn't work for all types of windshield wipers.
Thanks for you help, man! I just changed my own blades because of this video! Woot!
Your video helped me immensely. it's raining and it's dark, but you help me. Otherwise I wouldn't know how to get home.Thank you so much!Cheers!
My dumb ass kept looking for the release clamp…. Idiot me didn't realize all I had to do was yank the damn thing down. You are a lifesaver.
I'm going to change mine like ASAP. The car will pass safety inspection this time.
Much more straightforward than the first video I watched. Thanks!
My friend was struggling, in the rain (!), and I found your video. He was being a smart-ass about it but your video did help him and he is grateful. So thank you!
Holy shit I had no idea what I was doing thanks
Thank you, this is the only video I could find that actually told me the correct way to do it that worked, thanks
Really appreciate the way you clearly showed the placement of the wiper, the arm hook, the clip, and your hand for both the off and on. Most of these vids just show someone fumbling around until the blade somehow snaps in place.
I recently bought some AutoDrive blades at Wal-Mart and struggled terribly to get them to securely click in place. It turns out that they would only firmly click in place if the blade was positioned almost exactly 90° perpendicular to the arm and the clip aligned with the arm. Other brands are more forgiving about the angle the blade is at when you slide the clip in.
One of those things one doesn't need to do often but when you do it matters. GREAT VIDEO. Thank you so much!!
Totally saved my ass today. Thank you!
The you Chris your the BEST Brother 🏋🏻♀️❤️😀
Very Simple! I probably saved a good 20+ dollars between purchasing the blades at Wal-Mart and using this video to help me put them on. I appreciate the up close video shots😊! Thank you!
Thank you sir
Give this man land, sheep and good fortune for as long as he lives!
Thanks, saved the day!!!😊
You are awesome
Hi Chris fix.
Thanks Chris fix.
Thanks dude we got rain coming and my mom needed her wipers replaced and the directions said something entirely different and unhelpful so thank you again
Better than 38million views nerdy one
Easy peasy – thank you!
Good info thanks
Thank you very much. I hadn't changed the wipers myself in 6 years and I forgot how to do it. Michelin is supposed to have instructional videos but they don't.
My wife watched your video and she did it on her own. She thinks she's mechanic now lol. -Thanks Chris.
I love the way you do things effortlessly Chris. I take my Hat off to you.
Thank you,i finally can do it myself.☺
Saved my butt on a hot day! Thank you!!!
Man, I broke off only part of it…got worried I'd make it worse… should have started with passenger side🙄
Next up how to roll down a window
There is the j-hook arm, push button, pinch tab, bayonet, side lock… WHY ARE THERE SO MANY ARM TYPES
Where are new videos!!
only youtuber that actually knows how to record properly 😂
Very helpful 😌😌😌😍
Thank you so much! Someone broke my wiper blade from the parking lot and I was freaking out what to do
This is for Chris Fix. I find all your hints or information very helpful.
In about an hour and a half I need to pick up a girl on a date. You just saved me from looking like a bum.
Hey Chris! Love your channel! You should make a video of how to flush out and drain your windshield washer reservoir. I used the wrong kind of fluid (tablets) and now my reservoir is all gunked up and have to pay someone to get it flushed out because I don’t know how to do it myself :/
Took me a while, like a really long time that it’s super embarrassing! But I got it down thanks to your video! 🙂 although one of mine didn’t click, hmm but they were cheap so who knows.
Thank you so much. You just helped me change my wipers.
I subscribe right now,thank you
Thanks. Wasn't going to pay $25 at Firestone. New sub!!
You made this so easy. Every other video on the removal technique is a waste of time!
Thank you for all your videos
Hi chris ! you are really super in machanical ! thanks a lot !
Broke grad student here, appreciating your videos!
Let me try this. Wiper changes always frustrated me that have the hook type. I was trying to do it the completely wrong way, which was practically impossible. Thanks for uploading this!
Funny I was watching this is the rain lol (edit: and in the dark)
My windshield got scratched left the old one on. How do I get the scratches of the windshield?
Chris Fix helped me with a quick fix. It's a really cold almost freezing rain and my from wiper looked like yours. Also, it's dark lol I appreciate your video!
Thanks. Worked like a charm. The hook is designated a j-hook.
I wish my truck had the hook design, but it has the non hook design.
You’re videos are 10x better than companies’ attempts at walk throughs, this video saved me when AutoZone and Rain-X couldn’t. You’re the best
