I'm mexican, and I eat a lot of spicy food. I still don't get why ppl like to feel pain while they eat. When you cook spicy food you have to put a reasonable amount, otherwise you don't taste anything but the painful spicy flavor.

Before I had cancer and a marrow transplant, this would have been perfectly seasoned. I was a true pepper-head. The "cure" has its side effects, one of which is mouth ulcers. Needless to say, no more spicy. Seeing something like this steak and not being able to eat it, counts as torture. 🙂 Thus steak WAS perfect until you overcooked it. Pull at °124, let it rest and continue rising in temp to °129… Then sear… This steak was dang near medium.
This most be a real winter sreak,good for a day ice scating😨 to warm up again!. And I have a name for this steak devils steaks from hell😂😂😂😂keep on grilling 😉👍

However, there has to be some type of balance between heat/flavor/pain…some of these fiery food challenges are nonsensical as they are just hot to be hot. I have just ground up some 'pizza parlor peppers' (cheap and convenient) and added it to commercial rubs for an extra kick. Love the content! Greetings from just outside Chicago, friends.

You always use olive oil as a binder for your rub. Please would you try lard (animal fat) to see if it makes difference
