Watch A Full Body Shop Repair In 90 Seconds

My name’s Dennis Nottingham, I’m the
manager here at the Progressive Auto Group Collision Center and today we are going to be
repairing a two thousand eleven Chevy Malibu Here at the body shop we have over four
hundred years of combined experience. All of our technicians are ASE and I-Car certified. What that means for you is a safe timely quality repair. We are repairing the right front
suspension and engine cradle. After this the vehicle gets a four wheel alignment. Next the body work is performed with the
appropriate fillers then on to the paint department. As you can see all the moldings and handles are removed the vehicle is masked off and the final sanding is complete. Once in the in the paint booth the vehicle is prepped repair panels are then sealed three coats of base coat are applied followed by the clear coat once the vehicle has been baked for at a
hundred and eighty degrees goes back to reassembly lastly over to the detail department
where the final touches take place and the vehicle is cleaned inside and out If you would like a free estimate please give us a call we do work on all makes and models and
thanks for watching the video

Full service body shop and you're using filler? I mean I know its just a Malibu and probably a salvage title but if you can't weld quarters, I might as well go see Hector.

Body shop work is much easier in the USA. Its all mostly just replacing pieces. In my country all those dents and hits are pulled out by tools because there isn't that much money to buy the parts and the job they do is very satisfying. At the body shop I work at all we do is replace and sometimes im able to bring fenders back to life lol the boss likes the way I work. Says i help save money sometimes

Your bodyman never blocked his body Work, first sign of butchery, but I’ll stop there.

Every shop has different products and techniques they use but the fundamentals are there..granted it’s a 90sec condensed video and not everything’s included but man…These guys obviously aren’t on commission!!! Different tech installing the cradle and knee, he’s flagging all that mech time!!! Crazy!!! And from my experience the Walmart’s of the industry are where all the hacks hide!!! Because any tech worth a damn isn’t going to be in a facility sharing that workflow with 15+ guys. I gotta be able to turn 100+ a week..anytime I see fellow techs I gotta applaud tho. It’s not easy work but if you’re good and have the hustle you can make 120+ a year. Get em straight boys. Btw gotta update the booth.. js

yeah? What about the full 5.00 cover car! This is a badly done example of protocol. The car should be completely covered by paper and plastic…that's you are paying for… called
"cover car "or "mask for over spray". Just saying…Over spray is a bad thing to fix..if the car isn't covered properly… that's what you get. uhggg!

my insurance took way to long for my claim.
still in the shop i have wait another week. they found more damage. famers fucks.

    Nice work
But one problem I saw was in the painting process the car was only taped off some parts but the car was not covered to protect other spots from overspray like the complete left side and half a roof
